The Town District is the commercial and administrative heart of the city. The area is the home to nearly every major company in the UK. It is also the home of T.A. Investigations. The skyline is dominated by massive skyscrapers, with the L.I. Tower, the tallest of them all at 802 metres in height, the tallest free standing tower in the world.

Crime is extremely rare in the town district, mainly because of the huge police presence, Massive CCTV coverage and T.A. Investigations being based there.

The large population are housed mainly in the huge estates on the west of the district, hi-rise after hi-rise crowd the sky. On the east is the low density estates of Mayfield and Stokes Hall, where the more affluent live.

The south of the district is dominated by three major features. Worden Park, Runshaw College of Further and Higher Education and the maximum security jail known as Wade Hall.
